Why You Should Back Up Your 12-Word Recovery Phrase
Your 12-word recovery phrase is the only way to restore access to your Bitcoin wallet if you lose your device or switch to a new one. Without it, your funds cannot be recovered.

To backup your 12-word-recovery phrase, follow these steps:
Open the Relai app and tap 'Profile' in the navigation bar.
Select 'Your recovery phrase' and confirm with your PIN or Touch ID / Face ID if enabled.
Read the instructions carefully.
Write down the 12-word recovery phrase on acid-resistant paper or a secure backup method (see below).
Enter your 12-word recovery phrase to confirm.
Ensure all words are written in lowercase during backup and verification to avoid compatibility issues.
⚠️ Important: Your recovery phrase will not be saved in your phone backups (e.g., iCloud or Google Drive).
