ID Document Requirements

To complete your verification, you must provide one of the following government-issued identification documents:

Accepted ID Documents:

  • National identity card (must include MRZ – machine-readable zone)

  • Passport (must include MRZ – machine-readable zone)

Not Accepted ID Documents:

  • Driver’s licenses

  • Residence permits

  • Temporary ID documents (e.g., provisional identity cards)

Only national identity cards and passports with MRZ (machine-readable zone) can be used. The MRZ is the area with lines of numbers and letters at the bottom of the document

Proof of Address (POA) Document Requirements

In addition to your ID document, you must submit a Proof of Address (POA) document during the verification process to verify your residential address.

The document must meet the following criteria:

Accepted POA Documents:

  • Bank statement

  • Utility bill (electricity, water, gas, internet, etc.)

  • Local tax authority bill

  • Certificate of residence

📌 POA Document Requirements:

  • Issued within the last 3 months

  • Clearly shows your full name and current residential address

  • All four corners of the document must be visible in the photo or file

  • Must be in German, Italian, French, or English

  • Must be a picture taken of the original printed document or the original PDF file

🚨 Not Accepted:

  • Screenshots or scanned documents

  • Digitally altered or edited images

  • Photos taken from another screen, computer, or device

  • Documents in languages other than German, Italian, French, or English

Only photos of the original printed document or the original PDF file will be accepted. Please ensure your submission meets these requirements to avoid delays in verification.
