Proof of Address (POA) Document Requirements
As part of the verification process, you’ll also need to provide a Proof of Address (POA) document to confirm your residential address.
Accepted POA Documents:
Bank statement (must be a standard statement, not a certificate of account ownership)
Utility bill (electricity, water, gas, internet, etc.)
Local tax authority bill
Certificate of residence
Bank statement examples include multilingual banks like Revolut or N26, known for providing English-language statements.
Utility bills can also be requested in accepted languages from providers in certain regions.- If your bank statement or utility bill is missing necessary details, request a new version from your provider that complies with format and language requirements.

Issued within the last 3 months
Clearly shows your full name and current residential address
All four corners of the document must be visible
Must be the original, unedited file or a clear photo of the original printed document

Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish.
Not Accepted:
Screenshots or scanned documents
Digitally altered or edited images
Photos taken from another screen, computer, or device
Pay stubs/payslips
Rental agreements
If your document is in an unsupported language, you are encouraged to reach out to your document provider, such as your bank or utility service, for alternative language versions or explore options like digital banks issuing English-language documents. Many providers, including Revolut, allow users to change the language of their statements. Additionally, consult your provider’s website or app for guidance on obtaining documents in supported languages. By taking these steps, you can ensure your documents are compliant and avoid delays.If your providers cannot issue documents in the accepted languages, consider alternative sources such as municipal certificates or switching to banks and services that offer compliant documents.
Uploading Your POA Document
Upload the original document file directly in the app during the verification process.
No Screenshots or Scans: Screenshots or scanned documents are not accepted. Only unedited original files or a picture of the physical printed-out document with all four corners visible are allowed.
Digital Alterations: We cannot accept any form of digital alteration or obscuring of information on the document. If you need to hide sensitive data, you may print the document, cover the relevant information with small pieces of paper, take a clear photo, and then submit it to us.
