You can now buy bitcoin with 0% Relai fees once per month — but the way it works has changed.
This offer is now exclusively available through savings plans.
What changed?
Previously, the 0% fee offer applied to one-time purchases.
Based on popular demand and to streamline the experience, the offer has been updated:
You now get one monthly savings plan order with 0% Relai fees, up to 100 CHF/€.
What is the 0% fee offer?
Every Relai user gets one monthly savings plan order per calendar month with 0% Relai fees, for orders between 50 and 100 CHF/€.
Here is how it works:
The offer applies to monthly savings plan orders only. One-time buy orders are not eligible.
The first monthly savings plan order created in a calendar month gets the 0% fee, no matter which of your savings plans it belongs to (new or existing).
Any further monthly savings plan order in the same month, from the same plan or a different one, is charged the standard Relai fee.
The offer resets on the 1st of each month.
The fee is applied per order, not per savings plan. The same plan can have a 0% fee order one month and a standard fee order in another month, depending on which order comes first.
Third-party fees (e.g. from your credit card or payment provider) still apply and are not controlled by Relai.

How do I use it?
Open the Relai app
Tap the ( + ) icon and select Buy
Choose an amount between 50 and 100 EUR/CHF
Pick Monthly savings plan
Select your preferred payment method
Confirm your savings plan.
If you already have a monthly savings plan, you do not need to create a new one. The 0% fee is applied automatically to your first monthly savings plan order of each month.
Can I use this offer with an external wallet?
Yes. You can set your monthly savings plan to send the bitcoin directly to your external wallet, including hardware wallets like BitBox, Trezor, or Ledger.
Relai also covers the Bitcoin network fee for you when buying to an external wallet.

Why did Relai change the offer?
We simplified the fee model based on popular demand: the 0% fee offer is now available exclusively through monthly savings plan.
This change helps us deliver a more reliable and streamlined experience while encouraging long-term bitcoin saving habits.
One-time purchases are no longer eligible for the 0% fee offer.
